Tennis surface

In the past the tennis used to be played on a natural surface, clay or acrylate surfaces.

 

Nowadays we can meet natural lawn only in Wimbledon. Clay ,more and more frequently, is being substituted by artificial grass made of polypropylen (PP) or polyethylen (PE) fibres.

 

Artificial grass is more economic for its maintanance.It is water permeable and it has the same quality of slipperiness as the clay - which ensures junctions and muscle insertions safety.

 

By chosing the right type of artificial grass and backfilling we obtain a surface of almost the same characteristics like clay or nature grass have.
