Football surface

In the first half of the 20 th century football became the most popular sport in the world – being played mainly on gravel and sand, sometimes on grass.

 

Beginning with the 70th the grass becomes more common even for little municipal playgrounds. Those days nobody came accross to the idea of playing football on any other surface than at grass.

 

In the 90th there comes up the first generation of artificial grass.

 

At the beginning of the 21st century RADICI GROUP becomes an equal player at the field of artificial lawns of 3rd generation – having FIFA1 and FIFA2 certificated lawns in its portfolio.

 

The products and artificial fibers are being developed and improved continuously and together with convenient silica sand or rubber granulate backfill they provide almost the same characteristics as a natural grass surface.
